Featuring excellent heat transfer and pitting protection for wet sleeve cylinder liners, it also works to reduce hard water scale and overall coolant and coolant component maintenance. It requires no traditional ELC Extender or supplemental coolant additive (SCA) additions and contains no silicate borate, nitrate or phosphate. Shell Rotella ELC has excellent, long-term corrosion protection of all cooling system metals including aluminum, brass, cast iron, steel, solder, and copper. Permatex Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant is a general-purpose, black RTV indoor/outdoor sealant. Effectively bonds, repairs, seals, mends and secures glass, metal, plastics, fabric, vinyl, weather stripping and vinyl tops. Also protects and repairs electrical wiring and may be applied to horizontal or vertical surfaces. Waterproof and flexible with a temperature range of -75 degrees Fahrenheit to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, this sealant is oil, water, weather, vibration and grease resistant. Suggested applications include windshields, door frames, electrical connections, seams and roofs, vinyl tops, and weather stripping.
